Sri Lanka Association of Minimal Access and Digital Surgeons — established in 2020 to advance minimal access surgery education, skills, and research across Sri Lanka.

About SLAMADS

Sri Lanka Association of Minimal Access and Digital Surgeons

SLAMADS was established in 2020 to address a significant need among Sri Lankan surgical professionals for structured support in advancing their minimal access surgery (MAS) capabilities. The association works to help surgeons develop their skills and to assist health authorities in developing MAS programmes throughout Sri Lanka.

SLAMADS represents a diverse membership spanning general surgery, radiology, gynaecology, and allied surgical specialties — with a particular emphasis on empowering recently appointed surgeons and surgical trainees at the outset of their careers.
