ONLY PRESENTERS WHO ATTEND THE ASM WILL BE ISSUED WITH CERTIFICATES. THESE WILL BE EMAILED AFTER THE EVENT AND THE WORDING CANNOT BE CHANGED. ONE CERTIFICATE PER ABSTRACT WILL BE ISSUED.

All abstracts must follow the structure and formatting requirements below. Abstracts are marked anonymously and must not include institutional identifiers.

  • Text and tables only — no figures or graphs
  • Maximum five authors
  • Abstracts are marked anonymously and must not include institutional identifiers

General Requirements

  • All presenters must register for the 2026 ALRSGBI Annual Scientific Meeting
  • PowerPoint preparation mandatory for all formats
  • Advance submission and backup copy required
  • Certificates of Presentation issued only to presenters listed on the abstract submission — one certificate per abstract

Presentation Categories

🎤 Oral Presentations (Free Papers)

  • Date: Tuesday 8 December
  • Seven minutes presentation duration, followed by three minutes discussion
  • PowerPoint submission required in advance
  • ASM registration mandatory

The BJS Prize winner receives the David Dunn Medal along with a certificate and cash award.

📋 Poster Exhibition & Presentations

  • Electronic poster monitors with PDF submissions
  • PowerPoint in portrait format, 9:16 ratio
  • Presenters must attend poster session to answer judging panel questions
  • Posters of Distinction may be displayed as printed fabric posters

🏆 Best Laparoscopic/Robotic Poster — certificate and cash prize

🎬 Video Presentations

  • Maximum five minutes duration
  • Voiceover compulsory and in‑house production only
  • Submission via WeTransfer as part of the abstract submission process
  • Videos of Distinction session featured during the ASM
